EIGHT 360

 

Masters of Spin....
Eight360 was founded by 3 Wellington engineers in 2015, with the dream of creating a new type of VR simulator for helicopter pilot training.

​

Over the last five years, the now Petone-based startup has built multiple prototypes, with scope expanding to include any vehicle from racing cars and rollercoasters to jet fighters and spaceships.

 

Founder Terry Miller (pictured) explains, “the NOVA Platform is the end result – a state-of-the-art, totally immersive virtual experience offering better engagement and learning outcomes.

 

The unique spherical design allows it to perform unlimited rolls, flips and spins – so you truly feel the experience.” (And have fun apparently!)

Over 4.5 million people visit Storbie websites each month, and during lockdown, experienced a 275% surge in demand for Kiwi pharmacy sites and 250% increase in Australian pharmacy sign-ups. There are now 300 pharmacies and counting using Storbie.
